I know I'm still a noob around here, I read a lot and post a little, but I wanted to share with everyone my excitement, as I just asked my wonderful girlfriend to marry me.

We haven't set any dates yet, but are thinking of something small on a beach. (Maybe somewhere I can legally celebrate with a cuban!)

Congratulations and best of luck! I went to Sandals in Jamaica and it was awesome. They do wedding/honeymoon deals but good luck getting a legit cuban. I was there in 1998 and the gift shop was selling Cubans for $30. I was not really into cigars then so I passed (probably fake anyway).

Congrats! i was just married this past may. all the wedding planning may make your head spin!

we had our honeymoon in Cabo-stayed at the Rui Palace-best trip i have ever been on. and yes the habanos dealer in town sold cubans at reasonable prices.

even the gift shop in the hotel sold real cubans-i was very hesistant at first becase the prices were a bit high and i was sure they were fakes-but after i lit a PSD4 i knew they were legit!

again congrats and if you want any info on riu palaance feel free to shoot me an email.

Congratulations! Getting married is the best move I ever made (of course, I've made lots of bad moves).

Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I can second the fact that it was the best decision I ever made. I have made plenty of bad ones as well. There must be an echo in here. LOL Its all so true if you meet the right one.

Its also true there will be struggles and compromises. I am going on 2 years this September.

Good Luck and we are here to tell you that sometimes a nice cigar can make a bad day nice.

Cheers,
Matt

GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!

One of the worst experiences of my life was planning the wedding which was closely followed by the wedding itself. My advice if your getting a fair deal of trim don't bother getting married.

That was the advice many married men gave me when I was engaged , I thought they were joking. The joke was on me Mad

Going through that nightmare right now. My fiancee and I live in different cities, which makes it harder. I don't mind spending more money for something nice, but everything is expensive and ugly!

I don't envy you, heres the kicker you probably won't even get to enjoy the reception. We had a 200 guest limit which was above my means at that time, so I figured if I slashed my guest count I could save a few $ however my dear wife only saw that as an opportunity to invite more people I didn't know & have not since seen.

It amazes me what men will do to get pussy Wink

Good luck my friend, I feel you're pain, just thinking about the event is making me angry at my wife
