Hi all,

Woke up to my new coffeepot brewing, in my new house......

Beautiful weather (for the next week, according to my satellite radio weatherman) so I rolled the bike out of the garage and rode to work....

Here at work where today I will (finally) move in my own office that was promised me when I got promoted two months ago....

All in all, shaping up to be a good day, I'll have to smoke something good to keep up.

Hope y'all are having good days too.

The goal of the “liberals”—as it emerges from the record of the past decades—was to smuggle this country into welfare statism by means of single, concrete, specific measures, enlarging the power of the government a step at a time, never permitting these steps to be summed up into principles, never permitting their direction to be identified or the basic issue to be named. Thus, statism was to come, not by vote or by violence, but by slow rot—by a long process of evasion and epistemological corruption, leading to a fait accompli. (The goal of the “conservative” was only to retard that process.) -----Ayn Rand,

sounds good dragonman.......I too moved into a new house a few months back and I remember it well. I had been staying with the in-laws for a few months while construction was being completed. I had left my dog with a friend for that time and I remember getting him back in the new home and having my first smoke with him by my side. First night in.......fired up the grill, had a good drink, smoked a PAM 64, and gave the wife a little pickle tickle. As it turns out, we are now expecting our first child. It doesn't get much better than this Big Grin Big Grin
