Nice post. Thanks.
But how can they flaunt it like that, and get away with it?

I've never head of anyone who has been prosecuted for smoking a Cuban in the States, the law notwithstanding.

You'd have to bust the person who imported them, and if they only brought back a few, it's not worth the trouble.

The only persons I have heard of getting busted for anything related to Cubans are those who illegally import them (especially in mass quantity).

I have a friend who was allowed through US customs with 5 Cohiba Cubans in his carry on. He figured that if he was going to get them confiscated he would at least have the pride to acknowledge that he had them on his person (in his bag) as opposed to attempting to hide them. He went through US customs and got nothing more than a glance from the customs agent.

We smoked them on his patio a week later.

Yeah, wish I could go.
It looks like New York is one of the last ramaining places where it's legal to smoke inside.

Just when I decide to start smoking, it's ilegal everywhere.

Except the Dominican Republic.
You can smoke anywhere there.
