Yes Skokie has a smoking ban but there are a few exceptions. If the establishment is a tavern which is defined by 90% of your sales come from the sale of alocohol or liqour you are a tavern, also bowling alleys, and tobacco shops are exempt from the smoking ban. Also if your restaurant has a seperate enterance, HAVAC units, and seperate bathroom facilities plus a barrier such as a wall or closed door to the smoking area you can have a smoking section.

So next time you are in Skokie, you can still enjoy your cigar at Cigar King.
