I love lower taxes - but not at the cost of higher future taxes, increased interest rates, a weaker dollar or reduced essential services.

ABSOLUTELY!! THANK YOU!
Geesh.

Now they will want to change the subject. Unreal.

Excuse me, But even Reagan raised taxes in his second term. And so did Bush Senior. At least they didn't leave a disaster like Junior.

Increased revenues....

Works in theory, but hasn't been born out in practice. We're still spending far more than we're taking in, as a nation.

Anyone care to look up the percentage of our taxes that are going towards paying just the interest on our national debt?

I'll see if I can dig it up over lunch...

"The Reagan tax cuts, like similar measures enacted in the 1920s and 1960s, showed that reducing excessive tax rates stimulates growth, reduces tax avoidance, and can increase the amount and share of tax payments generated by the rich. High top tax rates can induce counterproductive behavior and suppress revenues, factors that are usually missed or understated in government static revenue analysis. Furthermore, the key assumption of static revenue analysis that economic growth is not affected by tax changes is disproved by the experience of previous tax reduction programs. There is little reason to expect static revenue analysis to evaluate the economic or distributional effects of current tax reform proposals much better than it evaluated the Reagan tax program 15 years ago."

Bush cut taxes for ALL Americans. Once again, do a little research.

Oh Really? a $250 rebate is substantial?

When did I say anything about a rebate???? The tax cut has nothing to do with the rebate.

Gay Marriage wedge issues and and Bible thumping hypocrisy?

and-and...hmm
Once again showing your intellect, I see.

Oh, and what is a neon president? Roll Eyes

I see a guy sitting in front of his Mac, veins bulging in his scrawny neck, spittle running down his chin onto his ergonomic keyboard, pouncing on everything Republican that he chances upon. Rapid contrarianism rhetoric flashing through his writhing maggot infested skull, festering and dripping with venom for everything non-liberal. Oh the agony of being alone in his mothers basement while all of the other kids are out with real live girls. He eyes the secondhand blowup doll resurrected from the dumpster and thinks to himself; Patches you naughty girl, you shouldn't toy with my emotions when I'm off of my meds. I see you looking at me with your one good eye. When I get done thrashing these neocons I'll show you who the 2 minute stallion is!

I think that you have been "cabronized", A work of art, Inc.
Pangea, that was definately much more descriptive than anything I would have had the imagination to write. Wink Somehow, I believe it may indeed be an accurate description.
