Did you not see Wright's recent appearances? That guy is so cocksure and indignant that he definitely will not be taking Obama's recent denouncement lying down.
If not the media, Wright himself will make his presence felt for some time to come.
On another note, I've never had a pastor call people "stupid" and all sorts of childish names in sermons like Wright does in his. He really abuses that pulpit to take shots at anyone he chooses. How he can pass that off as Christian is beyond comprehension.
People have very good memories, especially when it comes to someones pastor calling America the "US OF KKK-A" or any of the hate speech against the jewish community, white community or even our government inventing the AIDS virus. Sure, John McCain may let it all go in September or October, however, the 527 groups will not. Remember the Swiftboat vets V. Kerry? I think anyone would be quite foolish to believe that if Obama is the nominee that we all won't grow very tired of Rev Wright's voice in the months to come. All the while, each commercial or ad will remind normal Americans that Obama listened to this man for twenty years. Of course, then you will have ads about Bill Ayers, the convicted terrorist that blew up the Pentagon and NYPD Headquarters, whom Obama served on a board with and was "friendly" with, according to his campaign manager. Senator Obama's wife has thankfully shut-up, after all, she has never been "proud" of America till now. Seems to me that Obama surrounds himself with people that hate America. The average common voter is a lot smarter than many will give him/her credit. Obama will never be the President of these United States. You can bet on that. Hillary, if she gets the nomination, may have a chance. However, she is considerably weakened. Mostly because of lies like this one...
People like "A work of art Inc" can hang on by that last thread but you will see, these two are more of a mess than John Kerry, and that is really saying something. If McCain were a real republican, or conservative, he'd be mopping the floor with these two. He seems to be running a "friendly" campaign, perhaps because some of his positions are similiar. BTW-Smearing George Bush isn't going to work, it didn't even work in 2004 when he was running. He prevailed quite handily as I remember it. The only saving grace the dems have is if that whack job Al Gore enters as a third candidate at the convention. However, if Obama looses this nomination and Hillary has it handed to her at the convention, you dems can kiss the black vote goodbye. No matter what happens, it sure is fun to watch these two blunder around in all the lies about snipers and pastors and what he heard or she said. Dear Democratic National Commitee, please keep this up. It's the most entertaining thing I've seen politically since John Kerry donned a sterile suit at NASA...or maybe it was when he was wind surfing?

His problem stems from the fact that he is church going but not God fearing.Obama's relationship with that mongrel has sealed his defeat.Even if he beat's Hillary he will not get past the republican's in November.

As of now, three superdelegates have endorsed Obama today. Simply unbelievable! On top of that, the media are all commending Obama on his speech yesterday. Wow, there is no disconnect from normal Americans there!

I might not vote for a Democrat, but I'd NEVER vote for a Republican.
A lot of Democrats don't fell the same as you do from what i have heard seen read many will give there vote to a Republican rather than either of the Democratic hopefuls.

If they do, may their children be quagmired in Iraq for 100 years. That is what McCain promised, isn't it?

He was asked what he thought about Bush's 50 year proposal and McCain guessed it might be 100. He never proposed 100. Then he based this guess by saying we have been in Japan and Korea for over 50 yrs already.
This is one of the things that Obama and Hilary have run with, and after seeing the actual clip it seems so foolish that they would even use it the way they have.

You've got a lot of class pal. You are uneducated. McCain didn't say that we'd be fighting for 100 years, why don't you do some research before you write something stupid. Lastly, if your going to post, at least post something worth reading, perhaps you could site a source or a reason for your opinion. Having been to Iraq, knowing guys over there and having a five year old boy, I must thank you for wishing something like that for my son. However, my son will probably have the values that I have and choose to serve his country as well, if he does I will be proud. He can take the place of fools such as yourself who post with all the decorum of a 17 year old.

Questioner: "President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for fifty years… " McCain: "Maybe a hundred. Make it one hundred. We’ve been in South Korea, we’ve been in Japan for sixty years. We’ve been in South Korea for fifty years or so. That’d be fine with me as long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. Then it’s fine with me. I would hope it would be fine with you if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where Al Qaeda is training, recruiting, equipping and motivating people every single day."
We've discussed this before. We have not been carrying out a military occupation of Japan for 60 years, nor South Korea for 50, nor involved in violent ethnic conflict in either country at the cost of American lives. Our presence in those countries has been negotiated, and is a requirement of our treaty obligations. If that's the nature of the 100-year presence Sen. McCain is referring to, as I think it is, then I have no problem with it.
But if he means continuing the Iraq status quo for another 100 years, then I certainly do. We're entitled to ask the Senator for clarification.

Well, If you support the republicans Iraq idiocy then you obviously don't mind being there or you even support our invasion, occupance and further persence there correct? I believe, along with most of Americans that it was a huge mistake and we were suckered by this administration and their ever changing reasons of the day for invading while screwing the mission up on a daily basis with incompetent people.

Yes, I approve of the Iraq invasion and occupation. I believe that our presence keeps billions of oil dollars from the hands of those that would harm us.

Please add something to the thread or refrain from posting. It is quite apparent you have little knowledge of the topic being discussed. Your only contributions are unsubstantiated attacks on President Bush and Republicans. Please do some research and then feel free to post. Thank you.
