Started out tonight with a Punch Rare Corojo Rothschild; it had a tight pre-light draw, so I used a Drawpoker on it. After lighting it, I realized the draw was still too tight---it was just not producing enough smoke. So I tried to channel through again, freehand. Not a good idea.

So I lit up an Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Espresso. Perfect draw. Nice tight white ash. Just one problem: nearly no flavor. This is the second one of these I've tried, and the second one I that I did not enjoy.

Looked in the humidor and its full, but nothing I really really wanted to smoke. Look like I need to invest in a second larger one. Settled for a RP 90 and a cup of tea.

A Punch Britannia this morning, and this afternoon an Hoyo de M. Robusto. This evening a Punch Rothschild, and now a Joya de Nic. Antano Gran Consul.

Jmunro,

IMHO, you can't get better than 'nubbed', so yes I definitely liked it! The flavor, draw, & burn were all consistent... I like a strong, flavorable cigar; but, one that doesn't have to get harsh to provide the flavor...
