Smoked an Ashton ESG Saturday before the game. Very good, but pricey. Never have seen one before.

Is it worth twice the price of the VSG?

Let's just say at $21 bucks a pop, I will not make it a regular. But it was very good. Not strong, but nutty and smooth.

Sounds like I need to try the one I have storing in the humi. Hopefully it's a good one like you described.

ESG is one of my faves. Great smoke that is worth the price IMO. I have several in my humi and a rule that when I buy 2 then I can smoke 1.

I try hard to live by that rule but don't always make it. I have about 12 now and they are hard to come by.

I have purchased nearly three boxes, a very nice cigar indeed. While I also have given some as Christmas gifts, the price is relative for a great cigar (about $30 in California). Kicks considerably in the last half, with the Churchill from last year a much better cigar than this year’s Robusto. It would be nice to hear from someone who has aged a few over a year or so.

I have had two of the robustos resting in the humi for a couple of months. I have to give one a try.
