Save it for some other time. You can't get ab aged cigar if you you keep smoking them. A promotion is ice, but not a turn-the-world-on-its-head moment like a baby, except for maybe if you become a CFO, CEO, or something along those lines. Go Cuban if you have one, if not, then go PAM 64 or VSG and really dedicate some extra time to enjoy them like you haven't in a long time.

Excellent! Maybe you can get your fiancee' to enjoy it with you. Or maybe you can enjoy your fiancee' after the cigar. Wink [Did I say that? Bad Saul.] I have yet to experience a "super premium" -- just waiting for that special occasion, I guess. Like when my wife goes back to having a cigar with me on the patio.

I like to make occasions to smoke the good sticks in my box. As long as you are into this hobby you will always get good sticks to lay down so smoking one or two here and there for occasions like this is warranted. Lifes too short after all. I would light up a cuban for the occasion but short of that a VSG, PAM, Diploma or a Tribute, would't be bad either.

Smoke whatever you want!

Money can always buy more cigars but not special occasions.

___

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

charloods, you will enjoy the RyJ's. Very smooth and creamy smoke. I think that is what you are going to fire up?

Congrats! What type of projects/construction do you do? (I do wood flooring and specialize in historic restoration)

That's a lot of people to supervise. You will gain valuable experience that will lead you to running your own show someday. That's way more valuable than the raise that you got! Start saving capital/making connections now and you could get your own business rolling within ten years.

You should smoke a fine cigar to celebrate this good break. Go with a Cuban Montecristo #1, get smashed, turn off the phone and sleep late!
