My air conditioning has sh!t the bed. My sticks are at 75 degrees. I have them double ziploc'ed and in a small cooler. I am going to take them to the restaurant and put them in the freezer. Never frozen sticks before, guys...how about some kind words of reassurance

Don't know how hot your house might et but you might be fine at 75 degrees. Just step up your inspection of the sticks, say daily, until temps come down.
Freezing shouldn't hurt them. Just make sure the bags are air tight and watch out for any condensation by thawing in refrigerator.
Ok so I have a window unit running on the second floor of my house (finished attic) It doesn't get super cool up here, but I am testing the temperature near the air conditioner. Maybe I can get away with leaving my babies up here. I would imagine I can get them under 75 degrees at the very least.

Mike; As stated, you should be fine at 75 degrees, no need to panic. Most of my humis run at about 75 all the time (I don't normally keep my house below that temp - and in Florida, we have no basements....a basement here is known as an indoor pool). A lot of walk-ins around here routinely run @ 75-78 from what I've seen due to constant traffic, with no ill effects.
Just keep your eye out for beetle-sign every so often (pin head holes, or small black specks if you tap the foot of a cigar lightly)....but you should be ok. I had beetle problems one time, but that was only after leaving a humidor out in my garage for a couple of weeks when the temps were in the 90's (really dumb thing to do, but I took it out there and forgot about it)....Even then, I only lost a couple of cigars. Pain in the butt, but after freezing the 'gars, and cleaning the humi out thoroughly with alcohol (you can also sand down the interior lightly), the vitolas tasted and smoked just the same as before.
Freezing does not affect the cigars at all, as long as you let them sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours after you remove them from the freezer. Good Luck.

Ive had my Coolidor run as high as 79 before, with no ill effects, it normally runs anywhere between 70 and 75.

My AC works hard to keep my house at 73-75 degrees and whem temps outside go over 97 my AC cant keep up so its been 80 or so here several days this year with no ill effects and in the spring and fall to save money I keep my windows open and it gets as high as 88 degrees or so and my cigars have weathered the temporary high temps ok so far.
