This is crazy, I was looking for the sancho panza extra fuerte cigars, and was ready to order them from CI, and i just decided to check jr, and its $20 dollars cheaper at JR! 71.00-50! Is CI known for its high prices? Cigar afficionado ranked the cigar in its top 25 of the year.

Bruce, I have used both and also atlantic cigar, and cigarbid. Some brands or styles are either not available or are higher priced. Its sort of a crap shoot. I have noticed a connection between CI and Cigarbid. I have been mostly using CIgarbid as of late and have been lucky with price of my winning bids and quality. Ralph

Prices differ all over the place. JRs has good prices. It pays to check websites.

I second csmithnj...you need to shop around. I usually use JRs, CBid or CI, Holts and Cheaper Cigars. I havne't used Atlantic Cigars, but I've heard good things about them. Shop around, you'll find that prices vary.
I recently won a box of CAO Brazilias off of CBid for $82, which I thought was a good deal.

Just bought from Serious. I've used JR, Smokeall and CI. Holt's and Bonita look great too.

You need to look at all the sites before making a purchase. Either figure out what you want to buy then check the sites for the best price, or search around the sites and look for specials.

It's really amazing how one place is more on certain brands and less on other brands.

There are a handful of good sites that I have used. However, none of them has the service like Holts.

It all depends on what cigars you want.

I have found JR's to be about equal with Mikes cigars as far as prices are concerned.

JR's is now owned by Altadis_USA so they might have more stock of certain cigars.

I usually use HOLTS or a cigar shop that I have dealt with for years especially for hard to find cigars such as Opus and Ashton VSG.

Well don't know about that. I have never had a problem with JRs and I have always gotten a great product whil a few years back Holts send me the wrong cigars. They fixed the problem right away but still. However I still buy from JRs, Holts and a few others.

What others have stated, shop around.

I don't care about a couple bucks one way or another, but you will find that sometimes the differences can be 20, 30 or more dollars per box. And no one retailer is consistency lower on everything. Some do offer to match or beat any prices (I believe Atlantic may be one), but I never tried myself. I usually go with the lowest prices (don't forget S&H because this can be a big difference between retailers) and confirm that they have what I want in stock, since I hate to wait. Big Grin

All the retailers I've dealt with were great - Holts, JRs, Two guys, Serious, Phatash, By the Box, CI, Famous, Bonita, Nick's, Firehouse

That's probably because Cigarbid is owned by CI. It is CI's auction site. They are directly connected. Big Grin
