I was given a few cigars to try by Tom Ramsey from Avalon Cigars of Clarksdale MS.
The one I have chosen tonight is called a Honeyboy, an African grown Cameroon Claro.
This is a Robusto size cigar.
Kind of underfilled, the foot is a bit spongy.
I wish I could give a good reportcard here but the cigar seems one dimentional with no distinct flavor profile.
The strength is medium to full and the burn is clean with a lot of good white smoke and a very white ash. The ash is holding on very well as I have finished the first 1/5th of this smoke.
More later

About 1/3 -1/2 done with this cigar. Burning a bit hot. I am going to let it sit in the ashtray a while to cool it off, but I am sorry to say the flavor profile has not impressed me.

Earlier in the day I had a Oliva V double toro. I posted my thoughts on the non CC forum. Later I had a Diamond Crown Maximus Piramid #3. This cigar was out of this world good. A bit overpriced but I got 4 at a great price. The cigar had perfect construction and the draw was flawless. The smoke was rich and full bodied. Very complex as I could only describe it like smoking a Dr Pepper. Loaded with spices and earth. A great one IMHO.
Staring in the humi as I speak...can't decide what to smoke. Maybe the Oliva Master Blend 3 robusto or maybe the PAM 64 Principe, I might just go with the Opus X petite lancero, decisions, decisions. I think I'll decide after dinner
I had the 100 Anos belicoso and man talk about a strong coffee taste. A very well constructed cigar and very easy draw.
Before that I had a Punch Churchill. I usually dont bother with Churchills due to my short attention span but was very happy with this one. A somewhat tight draw but very enjoyable right to the end. 100 minutes of smoking so I think I got my moneys worth!

Had a tough week, so smoked a lot this evening. Started off with Gurhka Legend then an Edge missle at a retirement party. I think he made out on cigars, scotch and golf balls. Then headed to local B&M King Beaver to hang with Vince for an Ashton Classic churchill ending the night with an Oliva Master Blend churchill.
