what the h*ll is it with all these people, that sign on the site, and on their 1st post tell you some story about how they don't know nothing about cigars, want to try your favourite cigar or want something for free now, and will be willing to give away cigars once their humis are full...

just seems like every other day, someone new values "my" opinion sooo much, that they're willing to try what "my" recommendation is.... of course assuming me or someone on this board (or other boards for that matter) are willing to send it to them for free...

to all the moochers out there.. (and you know who you are).. does this s**t actually work ??? I’m really intrigued.... does anyone actually send you some real cigars ???

WTF is that all about ???? get a job people...

sorry, but I had to let this one out,.. although, I have to admit, all these posts do give me a good laugh when I'm feeling lonely and sad.. But WTH nevertheless.....

I may be guilty of asking for advice, however I'd feel foolish trying to solicit cigars...

I understand your gripe, I guess I just never paid attention to those posts. I read right over them. I'm sure now, however, they'll probably be the only things I'll notice and I'll be as frustrated as you!! Wink

It's like when you get that Safety Dance song stuck in your head, "you can dance if you want to..." damn it!

We can smoke if we want to,
We can leave your friends behind
'cause your friends don't smoke
an' if they don't smoke
well their no friends of mine....

I knew that would work! Big Grin

The best way to get rid of a song in your head is to give it to someone else!

(Sorry for corrupting your thread, salibas007)

You think "Safety Dance" is bad? An infinitely more horrible song has been driving me nuts this week...."Muskrat Love!" AAHHHHHH!!!! Red Face

Hunter:"Shutup, f*ggot!!"
Norris: ( long pause...)"I am NOT a f*ggot!!!!
MINS,1987....Guess you had to be there......

Have seen these, but maybe I'm just too slow to see that they are asking for cigars. I have recieved a package from a forum member. They were offered and I figured I could fire away in kind so I went for it. This actually helped me out quite a bit. Gave me a chance to discover the Chisel Maduro. I'm now in the process of saving for a box if I can find one. I guess I agree with you about the mooching but it helps every now and again. I'd say just make sure the person who gets the mooch is able to reply in kind. I guess most of this goes on in the trading section. I don't frequent that area too much.

As a noob who only occassionally gets a chance to get on this forum I've always avoided asking for free cigars, or jumping in on that stuff. Even the thought of it would make me feel guilty. Granted free sounds great, but don't want to look like a mooch. Guess it's a pride thing.
