Where can one find sugar "tiped" cigars? I personally have never seen these but they sound like a treat. I was thinking of having a PAM 64 tonight while watching monday night football but I might change that.......wait.....maybe I should try dipping the tip of the PAM in sugar kind of like salting the rim of a margarita glass....now that's an idea Wink Wink

Anyone tried this? BTW.......Josue just pick up a pack of swisher sweets. SSSHHH.......don't tell anyone I said that.

Are these machine made or hand made cigars? I don't have much experience with "sweet" cigars. The closest thing I can recall to a sweeter flavor is the Flor de Oliva brand of cigars. I have noticed that they have a little bit of a sweet taste to them compared to most everything else I have smoked. They are also very affordable. A bundle will run about $30-35. These are hand made and quite a few guys on these boards will recommend them........I don't know about your Cojamar's. If you are looking to try something different give these a shot.........good luck Big Grin

You are at the wrong website. This is the place for mature cigar smokers not children who want to play like their daddies.

Try www.teletubbies.com

I have actually tried that particular "THING".

While i was still relatively new, I told the guy at a pretty well stocked shop that I like to try a cigar on the "sweet" side. I was trying to tell him I wanted one that was more flavorful with a bit of "sweet" hint. I didn't know how to describe the taste very well at that point (still don't) and he sold me that Cojamar thing. It was a torpedo and the tip was dipped in sugar water or soemthing. It is actually tasted like candy.

Oh, I didn't even light that one up after putting it in my mouth :P

Ok so I like a sweeter flavor from time to time too. I’ve found the Jucy Lucy from the Drew Estates Natural line to have that elusive sugary sweetness. Give them a try.

I have blood in my caffeine system.

Before you get staked to the fire and roasted like a new born lamb, by the veterans on this forum, take a good look through the posts and see what types of cigars are talked about. I think you will find sugar coated "anything" is burned at the stake. Theres lots of info about quality smokes here if you take a look. Go and change your handle and come on again before anyone has a chance to know who you are. Red Face

I was in my local cigar shop just last Thursday, and was introduced to a honey dipped cigar. Just the tip of it is/was dipped in honey.

I didn't actually get to try one of these, but these were not flavored cigars, and they weren't real cheap either.

They might have been the Cojamar, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure the shop near me has Cojamars, but I don't know that that is what my friend showed me.

Don't let these guys get at ya Big Grin It's in all good taste.

Do some searchs on here for cigars. Lots of information on here. Start out with a mild cigar and work your way up. Go to your local shop, tell them you are new and ask for some recommendations. Normally the shop will be more then happy to help you. If there isn't a shop near by go online and order a few sampler backs.

Good luck

As long you didn't "tiped" your cigar the way Clinton used to do it Smile , I don't see anything wrong with it. It's your cigar do what ever you want with it.
I personally don't "tip" my cigars anywhere.

Josue heres the deal! Read in the Nc and cigar talk forums and join in when applicable. You will learn by reading, that way youll know who to listen to and ignore. There is a lot of info here and some damn fine standup guys, just dont take the ribbing to heart. We like to joke alot. Big Grin And the best tip of all, try different cigars(as many as you can) and report to us what you like and disslike that way we can help steer you in the right direction. Telling us you like cigars with sweetend tips doesnt tell us much about your taste in cigars except that you like cigars with sweetend tips. If thats the case there are plenty out there, but the unflavored pure tobacco is where its at. There is plenty of damn fine underlying flavors in the tobacco itself, that my boy is where its at. Wink

I got your email.
You should get your cigars tomorrow.
Just watch for a man with brown shorts Smile
LMK what you think.
-----------------------------------
I don't think we should make fun of guys who just start smoking cigars. I remember myself smoking cigars and drinking Amaretto to add a sweetness to my cigars when I started. Even now I like to smoke good cigars with fine port. Never did with sugar.
I think we should explain and help guys like Josue
(I am not sure if it's a guy or a girl) if they have a questions.
Josue, in general serious cigar smokers don't usually smoke (or don't want to admit that they do) cigar that have a some kind of artificial flavor in it. Every cigars has its natural flavor that comes from different tobacco.
Think of it as fine wine. Not all Cabernet or Merlot taste the same.
Do research, ask questions, try different cigars, read a book about cigars. My favorite book about cigars is The Ultimate Cigar Book by Richard Hacker.
It will give you a lot of knowledge about cigar. Cigar smoking is like a hobby. Not like smoking cigarettes, if you smoke Marlboro, that's all you smoke. On different occasion you might like to smoke different cigars.
I hope this will help.

To be honest I spend very little time on IRC these days. That is mostly from days gone by when I would spend hours on the Newnet and Efnet. The last time I was on was on the aniverse server hanging in the Megatokyo and Underpower rooms.

1978 Honda civic with a 50 mile commute from Montreal/Sorel, morning and evening.

My pack of Colts.
White pastic tip, prelight draw tasted like a mixture of red vermouth and baby powder had fallen into a bag of my Grand Father's pipe tobacco.
A high profile smoke frequently advertised on TV as a symbol of success and celebration.

I alternated with Old Ports just to spice up my life. These had a bit of after shave aroma in them and hints of soap & lavender.

Both lost a lot of appeal once they were lit. I dunno if was the naptha in my zippo lighter or the dog hair in the car.

Needless to say it was a naive way of quitting cigarettes.
And I didn't pick up any babes.
