Okay, I was ready to do my first review. First scortch was nice, pleaseant even, lit very well and drew smooth. First taste was that of creamed coffee with flecks of vanilla and wheat, so far so good. Ash was complete and uninterupted, sharp and in control. I like this cigar. Half way through, I get fresh flavors of cola and leather--one dimentional? I think not. Then as I wanted to observe the wrapper I noticed the blotches? They are greenish and ewwww, that smell!! I looked at the others (I bought a 5-pack from JR) and they all have it. Some to a worse extent than others. Now, my question:
This is the second time I've recieved moldy cigars from this company, and I know it happens, but, being a noober, what do I do? Have they contaminated my humidor (I put them in today, sans cello)? And do I order the same smokes if the give me a refund?

I have orgered lots of cigars from JR Cigars and never had moldy cigars from them. I have been pleased so far with the orders I have recieved from them.

the first order I recieved from them, Casa Blanca Presidente, were moldy. I told them and they sent me a replacement. I neber liked them anyway--I need a stronger smmoke.
I'm just worried that I contaminated my humi, which contains, allbeit not TPSO quality, some nice sticks.

I had a bad experience with this supplier as well. I had to completely refinish my humidoras a result of the moldy cigars. (One good thing is that the humidor did bounce back, thanks to the good advice on this board from others who had had a mold problem). I wish I had thought to pack up the cigars and send them back. I didn't think of that until after I had thrown them all away.

Did yall tell the supplier about the bad order? If so did they offer to replace your order?

Never had any moldy cigars from JR, but once got RyJ Reserve Maduro from them, with broken box and when I tried to ignore the condition of the box and smoke one, I felt like I had my mouth was fool of sand. I called them and exchanged for different cigars (I think it was MC White, can’t remember for sure). My suggestion is to contact them and explain your situation. I am sure it can be resolve.
I'm not too sure it's mold, however I'm a scientist and i'll know for sure tomoroww. Some of these cigars seem to have protrusions. Though, certainaly, there is a suspicious "color".

Well it’s not a joke. Did you ever saw mold on any fruit or vegetables that been seating in your refrigerator for a long time? Well usually that has a "hairs" on it and kind of green-bluish color. Plus place where you see that green spot should me a little moist. Without actually seeing your cigars I can't tell you for sure. Maybe other guys can?
that "hair" would take days to grow, in the propper environment. My cigars were recieved at 5:30 EST. Thanks anyhow, I was more worried 'bout my Up's and my Co's. Can I sue!
