http://tv.msnbc.com/2013/02/17...-we-still-dont-know/ Even if you are a conservative hawk, it can be good to listen to what others have to say. Enjoy the program. ~ "Even on a bad night a Steely Dan show puts more musicality and skill on display than pretty much any band."

So sad. 4500 American dead, 35,000 wounded and 100,000+ dead Iraqi civilians and trillions of US dollars borrowed and spent on a war based on lies, "a hoax". http://www.motherjones.com/pol...-iraq-war-david-corn "Even on a bad night a Steely Dan show puts more musicality and skill on display than pretty much any band."

Given that you would take the same attitude, that it is good to listen to what others have to say, and would thus listen to a supposed documentary produced by, say, Rush Limbaugh, I will make a point of looking at this when I have more time.

No new information here, just repackagging the same old crap and posted here to stir the pot = troll. (IMO)

The clarity of information presented sheds new light on the startling manner in which that admistration created a case for war based on using false information in a premeditated manner, perpetrating a hoax as it was rightly called. The initial post was made hoping that reasonable folks with open minds might watch it and comment on it and if the facts presented made any impact on them or their thoughts about what was done, how it was done, and what it cost us all. ~ "Even on a bad night a Steely Dan show puts more musicality and skill on display than pretty much any band."

The documentary is new, and much of the information is from recently declassified documents. If you don't like the vehicle of delivery, there as links to many primary sources that are worth looking at, as well as interviews of those who were directly involved.

It's done and in the past. There are enough current issues to occupy most open minded, reasonable folks.

4,500 American dead, 35,000 wounded and 100,000+ dead Iraqi civilians and trillions of US dollars borrowed and spent and reasonable folks should ignore the newly released information about how the andmistration put this calculated hoax by us all, and stick there heads in the sand? Sounds like a recipe for repetition. I understand that you're moving on to more current things. Thanks for the insightful comments you have shared here. ~ "Even on a bad night a Steely Dan show puts more musicality and skill on display than pretty much any band."

The past is a great topic of discussion for historians. The dead are dead; troops I've served with are dead. They should continue to be remembered and of course honored. Does this newly released information change any aspect of that war or the issues you raised. No, it does not. It's not even the same administration, so we can't hold their toes to the fire. Other than hopefully learning some lessons, how does a detailed dissection of this topic help the issues that are in front of us?

Yes that sure is the important part, learning and implementing. "Even on a bad night a Steely Dan show puts more musicality and skill on display than pretty much any band."

What are you talking about? This is a forum. People discuss dogs and hygrometers, or any other topic they are interested in. There was never any indication from Wu that the documentary holds the secret to world peace and prosperity.

OK, feel free to start a discussion. We've got two links about a war that is largely over and that neither of you participated in. What do you and the good Dr Wu have to add beyond what is presented there? Or is this just an exercise in nostalgia?
