I've often wondered what things might be like 60 years from now. Assuming I survive this deployment, I may very well be that doddering old man in the supermarket with the stupid "US Army Retired" hat. Are people going to point at me and tell their kids: "That's the guy that helped save the world" or are they going to say: "That's the guy that let it slip away"? I don't know if the men at the time thought that they were saving the world. They probably just wanted to get the job done and go home. Kind of like us, I guess. BT
