I've used both sites, I was just curious as to the experiences, good and bad with both sites. Cigarbid is obviously "cigar crack", can't decide what to call Auctioneer, "Cigar Meth Lite"?
I have noticed that Auctioneer sometimes resets the end date for an auction by a day if the bid price is especially low. Or maybe that is just my imagination.
I like the shipping options better on Cigarauctioneer, but Cigarbid seems to have much more auction items.
I haven't used auctioneer, so I am interested in other's experiences as well
I have never had anything but positive dealings and experience with cigarbid. The site is nicely laid out and easy to navigate, the deals are good, and they take a lot of my money.

I've had positive expierences on both. I usually find that Cigar Auctioneer's prices are a bit lower since I think they have less traffic. They have less overall auctions but on the whole, I think they have less throw-away junk cigars than CigarBid.
Registration is free, just like CigarBid, and they are directly affiliated with Famous-Smoke, much in the way that cbid is with Cigars International. One of the things I like about Cigar Auctioneer is that if you bid over the retail price on their website, they issue you a warning before they accept your bid.
For the most part I've had nothing but excellent experiences with both sites......
The only things negative I can say is that for some reason my C-Bid deliveries seem to be taking longer and longer to get to me as of late. Where I was getting them rather quick the last three or so have take 9 or 10 days to get to me........
As for C-Auctioneer just be advised that you can't win an auction there then log onto the Famous site and make an order there without having to pay two shipping charges. I found that out the hard way.
Just a couple of minor inconveniences, that's all........

I think the worst thing about C-Bid is the payment is already setup so all you have to do is type in your password and your bid is placed. It is to easy. Its also the best thing about C-Bid. As long as its a good price I usually place a bid and forget about it till my cigars show up.
Both are good sites for what they are. You just have to know what the cigars retail for so you don't go overboard or get caught up in "stupid" bidding. Cigar Auctioneer has some smokes that C Bid does not, like the Plasencia Reserva Organica's that I like and a few others. I found service from both to be very good.

When someone see a very large person walking around and asks me "How did they get so fat?" my answer usually is "One cheesburger at a time." C-bid is like that. You become addicted to these auctions one five-pack at a time. But, it's a good addiction.
