Ahhh, Saturday. I love Saturday evenings. Work is over for the week and I can go home, relax and enjoy my favorite Tanqueray Martini with 4-queen olives and a plate of pepperoni and cheese. Brie tonight.

Of course I have my Saturday evening Opus X Super Belicoso.

Tomorrow I am taking a mini-humidor up to Dutchess County, NY to sit out on my sons deck, maybe take a dip in the pool and smoke some fine smokes.

That's what I admire about you James. You always find a solution to every problem!

For me it will be the usual 1916 cameroon and a pepsi

I just finished a Cruz Real # 24. I recieved a box of these from my uncle who got them as a gift when he was working in Mexico City. He is not a cigar smoker so I was fortunate to receive some free smokes. These have been in my humidor for about 4 years and were neglected with the few other cigars I had as I had not checked on them for quite awhile. I got the humidity level back up to 70% and they have been at this level for about 2 weeks, I thought this smoke was nice and mild with a pleasant aftertate. Not as good as the Chateau Feunte Sungrown I had last night though.

What else was tonight going to be but a Padron 6000????

This one was gifted to me in a bomb from Smokie and was fantastic. What's NOT to like in that cigar??? Great burn, great construction and great flavor. I couldn't bring myself to light one from the box I bought today - not after letting them rest for a while.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

Just finished a Trilogy Authentic Corojo robusto with a little Woodford Reserve. Nice smooth smoke, but nothing that knocks your socks off. Maybe with a little time in the humidor ...

Started the morning with some lawn care and a JR Hemingway "alternative". Pretty non-memorable, if the rest don't improve after a 6 month rest, they become lawn fodder.

Made up for it with a CAO Brazilia Gol! while finishing up some woodwork in the shade of the garage. A flavorful robusto that never lets me down.
