I saw on a Swiss web site that they show the Epicure #1 and #2 with bands. Has anyone seen this or are these not the real deal?

Thanks for your time.

Habanos SA began banding all CC's a year or two ago, so to answer your question, yes they have bands now. Who knows about your source though.

Take me to your sources

Used to be that cigars in cabs came unbanded, now just about every thing from Cuba has a band.

Recent production cabinets, and by recent production I believe since 03 but don't quote me on that, do indeed, as Ghostface so elequontly and generously stated, have bands. I believe the real question is why didn't you just contact the swiss vendor? I'm sure they would have gladly answered your question.

What I believe you're really trying to say is that you have trust issues. Ho hee ho! There's no guarantee with Habanos. Commies aren't exactly known for their strict quality control.

I believe it was early 2004 when cab cigars began being banded, so if the box date on your cigars is 2004 or later this is to be expected.
