May we all be blessed with a sweet year, one of peace and tranquility for all mankind. It is a tall order with all the war and violence in the world, but nothing is as big as an idea who's time has come. The idea is peace.
This is a time of reflection and introspection. For some reason, on a personal level, I note a lot of hostility, animosity and just flat-out rudeness from some people whom I have encountered on this and other boards like this. If I did or said something to prompt that, I apologize, and I would appreciate your bringing whatever it was that was said or done to my attention personally:

Please do so rather than involve other disinterested people who could really give a darn about such pettiness.
But to all to whom it matters, shanah tova. May we ALL have a sweet year.

a kinder gentler ryj, i like it! i was thinking the other night how much you have changed for the better. i think its wonderful you still contribute here and help new people with your knowledge. you may not be Howard Marks, but you have been Mr. Nice. I too am glad you still post here.

Nice post. L'Shana T'Ovah. On this special night we should all be thankful for all we have. You never know when it will be too late to appreciate it.
I had the best of all New Year's gifts. My wife was diagnosed with uterine cancer last Thursday. She underwent surgery yesterday. The news from the surgeons was that they think they were able to remove all the cancer and, depending on the pathology reports may not need radiation or chemotherapy.
Enjoy the holiday. Hug and kiss your loved ones. Enjoy all you have.
I'm sorry to read about that LABEXEC. My hopes to your wife for a swift and healthy recovery.
Nice post RyJ. Peace is a good idea right about now. While there is little that we can do about world affairs, we can at least enjoy peace with our brothers we've known and will get to know from these boards.
number 9 ... number 9 ... number 9 ... number 9 ...
For over two years I have thoroughly enjoyed your comments and insights on Cuba and Cuban Cigars on this board. I hope that you are doing well and it is great to have you back here.
kind of ironic...I ask people who have a bone to pick with me to write me privately, and no one does, yet those same people, rather than deal with their private problems privately rate this thread as they did...it's a shame...it's quixotic

I have no problem with you RyJ... i'm just glad that Coulter guy isn't around anymore. Now he was a problem... You're like JM88 compared to him. Although Coulter may have been a little more knowledgeable than you, and definitely better looking!

Coulter has had a rough ride...bunch of scalawags that were supposedly part of his crew decided they'd head out on their own, and made matters worse by pulling some nasty jobs carrying on like a herd of wild horses on a stampede. Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges.
