Rum !!!

Of all the cigars being counterfeited that are from Cuba these days I wanted to see if it was possible other things may be fake.. Rum being one of them, with that said here is some Rum I got in Mexico. It tastes pretty good for what that's worth.

Havana Club 7 year
Another
One more

This was a pic I took @ Pat O' Brians(sp), I think the drink is like $125, it only looks small because that's a huge beer.. Ah takes me back to the warm beach, 80 degree temps, etc. Man I'm hating this freezing weather.

Drink up !!

¸over the past few years, I have seen my share of fake itmes.... you can't immagine what these people will copy.. from fake batteries, to fake cell phones (oh ya... how can a cell be fake when it's all electronics, you ask ???.. well, it's fake), to cloths, accessories, car parts..even plane engines.... ski-doos... car tires (these have got to be safe !!)

if you can buy an original somewhere, chances are the chinese have copied it.. and have it for sale for a thenth of the price.

All the bottles I've seen have had short metal screw tops.
Pernod-Ricard link for Havana Club
Click on the "JPG" in the link above for a big image.
That's not necessarily definitive though. I've seen different style tops on the same bottle of spirits, depending where I've bought it. Even within the same country, a bottle bought in duty-free can have a different top to a bottle bought in the high street. That probably depends on the distributer of the bottle.
I've never seen HC7 with a corked top though. Of course that doesn't mean they never had them.
