Hey guys,

My little brother turns 18 on the 6th of November(I'm 19, will be 20 in April, btw). We've enjoyed many NC's together (bad brother, I know), however, he has yet to lose his CC virginity.

What do you guys suggest for his first box of Habanos?

Thanks!

You're getting him a BOX for his bday? You're not such a bad bro in my book. Does he like mild or full bodied cigars? What's his favorite size?

Hmmm I'd say grab him some 3 or 5 packs instead of a whole box so he can get a taste for a few kinds and decide what he really loves...

Though you can't go wrong with MC2s, PSD4s, BBFs, RASS, or any of the staples in most people's humis.

Since he's learned from my school of thinking, he enjoys torpedos/belicosos. Maybe a box of Bolivar Belicosos Finos would be good? Either that or the Montecristo Regata (Open Series) seems like a good smoke, too.

Boli Beli Finos are excellent. Other torpedos thats great specially when aged are (in order of preference) Partagas Serie P #2, Montecristo #2, Vegas Robaina Unicos, H. Upmann #2, Diplomaticos #2, and Romeo y Julieta Belicosos.. If you think he'd want something milder you can also consider the Sancho Panza Belicosos.

happy birthday to him and to you too, i guess Hoyo Epicure #2 or RyJ Short Curchills will be the best to start with.

Smoking is bad for you - there are many other vices for an 18 or 19 year old that are a LOT more fun for the money.

If you must, and you don't have either a lot of experience with Cuban cigars or know anything about them (and to ask the question you sort of answer it...), then look for Montecristo #4. Great starter cigars. These guys with the advice about buying $300 boxes are not thinking this through.

Monte 4 are easy to find, cheap, and you don't spend a fortune.
