I have a relative headed to Beirut (home of the world's largest LCDH). What would you ask him to bring back?

Try to get some Quai d'Orsay Imperiales. They are great smokes and very rare. The LCDH (as well as the cigar shop at the airport) have them at very low prices.

I find the Imperiales a bit mild for my taste.
Get what you like. They have everything, top quality.

If it were me.
I would ask for a box of MC2, BBF, ERDMCS and PSD4.
I might even go for more MC2.

I was thinking of something a little more "special". Maybe I should've mentioned he's buying something for me! Since I don't want it to be confiscated, I'm asking him to bring back just a few sticks.

Nothing will be consficated.
Go go go go go.

Roll those stop signs, **ck that speed limit, run that yellow to red. Cheat on your taxes.

Its all cultural

Special? Hmmm. What's not in your humidor and you've never smoked before and you will like? Is that what you're asking?

If I were you, I'd ask him to bring back some Cuban cigars.

Beirut? I'd say bring back a Type 56. I like the short length and the underfolder bayonet. Or is that illegal, too? Big Grin

Hey Plume, what happened to your "F***" post?

Is it permissable for a LCDH to take online orders and ship cigars out of the country eg., Beirut?

I've opted for a few vintage sticks or custom rolled. He'll be back in a few weeks, I'll let you know the scoop.

Update: I just received my gift of Year 2000 Partagas Salamones! These are the cigars with the individual pencil box or coffins. The first will be burnt to a crisp when our guy wins on Tuesday.
For those of you that know the source of these, it's cheaper to purchase them online. The cost was $35 a stick. Eek These will be special occasion smokes.
