A friend of mine gifted me a Romeo y Julieta Edicion Limitada Exhibicion No. 2...from 2002. I told him gently. He actually purchased it at an American B&M selling under the table. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the Cohiba Piramides. It has an Edicion Limitada for every year.

a guy at my local b&m, a nice guy, was showing some of his stash to me, which included "esplendidos" and Cohiba Sublimes EL 2007, I didn't have the heart to say anything.

I remember once this guy named Trevor was selling fake Cohiba Sublimes, until we routed him out like a squealing pig. That was fun. Boy the good old days. Hey where did that thread go anyway?

Cor: Steve, you have proven yourself to be a tremendous whack job.

And you wonder why many US cigars smokers have a bad opinion of Cuban Cigars.
Those vendors should be outed!

I won't dignify them by naming them, but there is a site that's been around for years that will sell you all the fake bands, seals & even box art you want.

Funny i was in Boca Raton Florida for a get together with some old friends couple of weeks back.
Never saw so many fakes that people swore were real.
The best was some HDM Ed Limatada 2006 pyramids.
When i tried to explain whey they were not real i got the old but i paid $35 a piece for them in the Bahama's.
Never under estimate the power of denial.

I don't see why people think because they pay alot of money for a cigar that it makes it real.

my bro in law gets his esplenbibo's from a rich friend who knows a doctor with diplomatic status who brings him cigars directly from fidel.

he honored me with a Cohiba DC EL 2005 (not a typo) . I didn't have the heart to break it to him. I still have the cigar.

Its tough to tell a friend that he has fake cigars, and that his cuban lawyer friend who brings them back from cuba is prolly buying fakes too.

I certainly agree with kechke. Is there any reason for NOT outting a store like that on this forum? Just asking.
