Heres the deal: i am a former CIGAR LOVER! i have many cigars and can no longer smoke cigars becouse my asthma is out of control. I have had these in my HUMIDOR ever since i brought them back. I need some advice on how to get rid of these.i have heard these are now pretty pretty expensive. I can guarantee these are authentic as well. The seal is still on and not broken. I have never opened this jar. Need pictures? Need proof? i have them!! My name is Adam Helfman and i am giving you my name as this is the real deal no hoax etc. Please let me know what to do. Thank you in advance! Cheers! Adam

Ok first you need the Secret hand shake.
Second check if your
Handshake is worthy. Then you need to
Initiate an offer for trade.lastly you need
To take a wait for a reply.

LOL You took the words right out of my keyboard Chris.

Adam, you're going to need to do numerous things if you want ANY serious reaction here:

1) Post detailed pics
2) Tell us where and how you got them, when and how much you paid.
3) Post pics of the receipts

Someone did not read the admin rules about "no commercial solicitations" being permitted on the site. Where's the popo when you need them?

Hi Adam,

First, welcome to the board.

Second, read this admin notice very carefully: We have the right--but not the responsibility--to moderate these forums. They are intended for personal use; commercial solicitations are not permitted and will be deleted.

Third: I would use a bit of discretion as you are located in the Motor City, and last I checked it was illegal to posses Cuban goods in the USA. Unless of course Michigan has become the 11th province of Canada, which is very possible as we may have purchased it for exclusive rights to our water supply.

Steve, i am from Detroit, but i thought it was not illegal to have the cigars but ILLEGAL to import them or bring them into the USA?
Also i am sorry if i broke forum rules. I originally asked for advice on how to get rid of these cigars. I figured someone would tell me where to go and sell them.
i dont want to cause any one any grief and for sure i dont want to get FLAMED here! I have the pics up on my blog right now for people to look at. Adam

No Worries Adam.

Good luck in selling these, as they are very rare and appear to be the real thing.

I will not ask how they got from the Carribean to your place of residence in Detroit. This was probably a case of a Canadian jet crashing in Michigan on the way back to Toronto from Cuba, and the rescuers helped themselves to the Cuban booty.

I have no idea. But I am sure a few people from the board will contact you and try to guide you.

You may want to contact the CS editors and see if they can help. I know David will try to bum a cigar from you, and James may offer to do a rating to validate them. Oh what fun.

Hey, you should contact Mike Holmes (home on Holmes), and see if he is interested. I am sure you can hall it across the border as building materials (sort of).

If you honestly want to get rid of them, I would suggest talking with someone outside of the U.S. Otherwise, you could get into a lot of trouble.

Yea I would sell them outside the US, as only pre-embargo Cubans can legally be sold in the US.

The Germans love these cigars. I will send you a private email of a German collector I know.

Adam,

Just throwing this out there...I'd remove the pics from your blog immediately. As these are Cuban goods they are illegal to buy, sell, or barter. You're running some risk of having them confiscated. The value of these things, assuming they're legit, is very high. I'd hate to see you lose them and face time or a substantial fine.

In short, take this private and seek assistance outside the US.
