Look there mr Steeler Wheel
Just call them as I see them. Read the last 2 posts and maybe you could see what I am talking about. It seems to me that a lot of these posts that start off civil go bad or go way off topic. Just an observation you dont really have to read it if you dont want to but on the other hand yours was just an observation as well that I really dont have to read. I really dont like to start trouble but if you see it that way that is your choice.

Can you say "antagonist"? Exclamation marks?
No need to go south unless it is perpetuated I guess. Time to move on people Smile Thanks Dog.

The first time I ordered a box of these was back around 1997. Back then, they weren't even putting bands on cabinet cigars. I've always been a robusto fanatic, so I tried and bought every robusto available at the time. Back then, I thought they were a good cigar, but nowhere near as good as my beloved Royal Corona. However, after seeing the pics Steve put up on the site, I can tell you they didn't look anything like the ones I had back when. The wrappers were lighter, and not oily like his. But, I can tell you after seeing Steve's, and reading his comments, if all of the boxes look like his, I've got to have a box of those beauties. I mean, they're so dark and oily, they remind me of an LE.

Back on topic men, you to Sheep Dog.

I got my second box in today and they are just as aromatic as the first box, except that 10 of the cigars are not quite as dark and oily as the other 15. And 2 of the cigars are pretty under filled at the foot. The rest are very nice looking and smell amazing. Box code UPM SEP 07

I have had a migraine headache all day and my thunking is a bit off.

Should have read: UPM SEP 07

Yea that SPE is a bit odd on the Monti #2 box. I still have those in long term storage so it should be interesting to see how they smoke.

It seems like I saw that code before. I went though a bunch of boxes to see but couldn't find it. I'll let you know if I find any. Have you done a search yet?

The flavor profile sounds like something I would enjoy on both the #1's and #2's. Leave it to this Canadian here to screw up everything! Wink

I'll try some #1's soon.

I gotta find one of you canucks who has season Leafs tickets to trade some cigars with. I always wanted to see a Leafs vs Habs game. Too bad tickets from a third party are absurdly expensive, but then again, it's Leafs vs Habs, what do you expect?

May I ask you guys if the cedar sheet on top of my cabinet has a straight cut finger hole instead of a crescent shape one is the usual practice for these cigars?

They have already removed it from the list. Either you just bought it or some other lucky bugger got the 50 ct box.
