Steve, you're in Toronto, right? Maybe when the weather gets a little better we could get some people together up there at LCDH or something. The drive isn't that far.

Hi JMS,

Not a problem. There are still a couple of places in TO have a good cigar smoke and buy some reasonable priced cigars. And I can also supply some choice Cubans, as a treat, which the LCDH does not carry up here.

Awsome, I'm sure we can get others to go as well, it'll be a good time.

I'm in. I'll probably drive up with James.

Awsome. Maybe Carl will join us as well.

My brother said he would probably go as well. He's not on the board, but he likes a good cigar.

A Work Of Art, let me or JMS know when your coming to Buffalo, we know all the spots.

We are, Steve of course is in Toronto. Yeah let us know when you'll be here and that we'll pick a date. Should be a good time.

Also, AWOA, I don't know when the last time you went to Canada, but these days you must provide two forms of ID, prefferably your license and birth certificate, a copy of your BC will do.

As of June 1st, they say you'll need a passport. However, they've been saying that for years and always put the date back.

Well, I decided to try another. The beginning was incredible, I mean just absolutely incredible. But after about a half inch it went back to like the first one. So I am thinking age is waht makes it good. It need to sit for a good while... maybe even a year. So I will revisit them after a long time.

I am really mad now. I think I got a bad box. Smoked another one today and it was plugged! This is the third one so far. Really frustrating. When I squeeze all of the other ones they are all on the tight side. Wish I knew this before, I would have tried to return them.

plugged? that really suckes. I have not heard of any of them being plugged. What date and box code?

I have had three from my box, no draw problems at all, one had some burn issues, but they all tasted great.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just emailed them to see if they can trade out the tight ones.

Smoke my first JL2 today (SEP04). A bit sweet, a hint of spice and orange peel . . . very nice cigar. Ugly and veiny as all get out, but I am not much concerned about that.

I'd give it 89/100.

I am seeing that the 2007 March and April boxes were real winners. They smell like port wine, very oily, and are very reddish brown. I have another box from Sept, and they are close but no cigar.

Cor: Steve, you have proven yourself to be a tremendous whack job.

From what lot are the ones you sent to uncle Tony Steve.
He really liked them.
His birthday is coming up soon.
Figured if i could find some.
I'd send him a box.

I smoked the first one out of my ABR 08 cab last night.......wayyyyy too young. It had been resting for a while already but it was still too wet. Medium-full strength, and some interesting flavor notes. No doubt this thing will develop well over time.

Overall, I'm very glad I picked this one up on sale.
