I just received my first Cab of Por Larranaga Petit Coronas. A damn fine smoke, Box date is August 06, still a bit young but I can see them developing into a Gem.

I have about 10 left from a cab I purchased almost a year ago.

This is one label that improves 100% with age. Try to do that if you can. They are a truely fantastic smoke.

July 04s are a true pleasure to smoke. Try to put some away for a couple years.

I have really been enjoying a number of the PCs lately.

These are OK fairly young (1-2 years), but at the 2-3 year mark they really show serious signs of blossoming. At 3-5 years they are simply excellent. I am hard pressed to think of a better PC or even a significantly better cigar period than 3-5 year old PLPC's.

I dunno what all the fuss concerninf PLPC is about. Most cuban PC's are in the same taste league. Maybe it's because it only comes in cabs of 50 and distribution is limited. The venerable MC 4 is a vastly superior PC.

I also have a box from AGO 06. I think they're very good cigars already. I just hope to keep my hands off them.
