Now that is one impressive haul! I hadn't tried any diplo or vegas yet but those BRCs and Siglo IIs make my mouth water!

I smoked a Siglo II 3 days ago and still have the nub outside in the ashtray. I go and smell it several times a day!

Looking forward to some pics.

very nice CL..... you have some top notch smokes there... and this is by no means a small haul... it's pretty impressive no matter who you are...

question.. did you get all this in 1 package ?? if you did, you're lucky it didn't get nailed... you shouldn't get more than 1 box at a time by the mail...

oops.... it was one package. I guess I am lucky, didnt even think about that. Well I didnt know If theyd all come in one package or boxes would be seperate, etc.. Since my wine cooler is almost full now, Id probably wont be ordering big amounts like this for a while. probably just a few singles at a time. Hey Sal now that I have 2 boxes, I have space for one more box in my cooler, which box would you recommend I get in the future?

I have 2 boxes and 2 humidors in the wine cooler, theres space for one more special box Smile

Question, is that mold or plume on the Diplomaticos? It rubbed off fairly easily with a couple of rubs of my fingers. Please tell me its plume! lol

Enjoy..

Nice haul and nice pictures. That's white mold, don't worry, it's no big deal.

Should I isolate the two Diplos? Or is it safe to just wipe off the white mold and place them in the humi with the other sticks?

Just wipe it off and if there is no stain you are fine to place it in with the others (which there shouldn't be any because it's white mold). Nice stash by the way. How long did it take to arrive?

After wiping off the white mold the cigars look very healthy there are no stains. They took about a week to arrive. Thanks for the input.

Im so tempted to fire a BGM up. They are from 2007, how do they smoke young?

I have had two and both had a very tight draw, kind of put me off from buying a box, especially for $130+. If I find them in Cuba I'll probably pick up a box or two for half that price. The taste was ok but the last 3rd was very bitter, from what I remember (could have been from tar build up though, hence the tight draw).

Looks like I might have to let em sleep for a year. In the meantime, Ill continue sampling some of the cigars Ive never tried, like the Trini line, Robainas, and some individual sticks of different brands.

Question, whats the peak age before Royal Coronas start declining in taste/quality? I have a few individual sticks other than my full box, Im thinking of putting that box to sleep.

The BRCs are amazing.
I have a Beliscos Finos, hope it stands to the expectations.

The Trinidad Reyes is a fine smoke, I bought a 5 pack at the London Cigar House a month or so ago and made my way through them - thicker, more robust than the Siglo I and not quite the same quality, but really a lovely smoke.
