Dear All,

As I posted before I`m in the middle of the design for a new humidor (draft)

I changed my mind and now I want something different in the color and finish of the exterior of the humidor.

I choose a small sample of woods in order to decide something new or at least not that traditional... and with some texture to the tact.

The samples are HERE.......

What do you think? any comments or votes ?

Right now I feel more closer to the grey spectrum but I can`t make my mind since I like a lot of them!

Thanks and hope this post bring a little fun.

I like the Raiz de Olmo.
looks nice, don't know how it would look on such a big humidor but it is nice wood.
Here is a link to some humidors with different types of wood to give you an idea on how it would look.

Thanks Jose for the link. Those are a famous ones!
To be honest I don`t want something like that since I already have several humidors with that look. I really like them! but a change never hurts.

The Raiz de Olmo is a great looking root.

Normally combined with other woods. I will try to take a pic of my office humidor that have this root.

I think the walnut would be a good look for a humidor.

Yes, normally the roots are combined with other woods. Like in the pics that Jose posted.
Thanks

Raiz Nogal looks very rich.
The color, texture and round knots actually remind me of cigars!

May I suggest that you get rid od that sophomoric unoriginal nickname. I`m sure stud fits right in somewhere but not here.
