After a looooong day at the office today I decided to tap into whatever's left of my CC reserve to relax back home. I lit up a Sancho Panza Belicoso that I've had in my humidor for 6 months now. The first ten puffs were simply amazing. There was a very strong earth, coffee, creamy sweetness that was absolutely delicious. This continued for about half an inch. I thought I had discovered something special since this was my first Sancho Panza. I pondered why so many people did not like this cigar and I could not understand... not at that moment anyway. After about an inch, the cigar completely went flat on me, there was hardly any flavor at all! There was a little flavor towards the end of the cigar but it smelled bad and the flavors were very weak at best. I was very dissapointed in this cigar, not the first half inch, but the rest of the way. I can only imagine how much I would've enjoyed it if it just stayed as it was Anyone else have this experience with Sancho Panza?

I had one once, though not a CC. But smoked it for an inch waiting on some type of flavor to come through and never did. It was only 3 bucks and I tossed it.

The CC and the NC has a completely different flavor profile and IMO cannot be compared, I've had a few of the SP NCs and they are good 3 dollar cigars, nothing special but good for the price

I love them. They are actually one of my favorites. Also note that you have to smoke a cigar correctly. One long drag a minute. Otherwise every cigar you smoke will taste harsh and lose it's flavor. You can't destroy the filler with too much heat and smoke. Try another one. Could also be you got a bad one.
well I was on the one puff/minute rate so it definitely was not it, I had it indoors to avoid the wind. I toasted it using three long cigar matches. It's like I was servicing this cigar instead of the other way around and it rewarded me with 10 good puffs and below average rest of the way. I'm not giving up yet though. I'd be interested in trading for a few to try them out

I have some from 05 that have a salty flavor profile and they are good all the way through. The salty taste is someting I have not come across in any other habanos. It's a nice change of pace i like them.

My somewhat limited experience with LGC Tainos has shown some saltiness on the finish as well.
