I have Opus for special occasions, I probably have around 50 in various sizes, mostly double corona, Reserve d Chateau and Super Belicoso. I don't even remember the last time I smoked one. Most are about a year old, some two years old.
Otherwise, some of the more rare Tatuajes.
This is in the Cuban Cigar Section, are you speaking strictly of cubans? I pretty much smoke those whenever.

For the special events or the weekends I smoke a CoRo or some of the few DCs that I have (Part Lusi or Hoyo DC). I have a few Monte As and a few custom rolled VR Padrinos that are waiting for some special moment.
Though I have to mention this because it bothers me and because it prevents me from investing in a CAB of DCs: I drill almost all DCs. coolfx
"You only have to spend $150 for a box of montecristo #4's? Holy crap, I got screwed in canada... I mean no vaseline, no kiss behind the ear, leave me high and dry screwed.
I'm thinkin about getting some special smokes, probably a tenner, and I'm not sure exactly what I want. Trying to go around $100 or so (Dracs are coming out, Anejos to follow and I wanna get a box of each if I can so no huge spending right now).
Here are the options (so far):
Monti #2s - 10 Party P2 - 10 HDMEE - 10
I looked for some ELs, but none are around my range
Imput on these sticks or other suggestions?

I can always buy an Esplendido or Siglo VI, but my two cabs of 2002 Partagas Lonsdales are reserved for special days. Of course any day I'm feeling good is a special day.

Are the Dukes that good?
I have had 2 Dukes from different boxes and they are very good. The ending is a bit rough, but the first 2/3 is amazing. Great aging potential.

those dukes are going for a very reasonable price right now...man I am tempted to pull the trigger on a box...how was the construction? any burn issues?

The construction is flawless. My boxes range from maduro to reddish brown and oily. All are very aromatic, and burn very well. But, I would encourage you to age them, as they are almost sublime in length & girth (5.5 x 54), and have an end harshness that should mellow out. But if you are Partagas fans, you may like the ending even more.

I have some esplendidos for lifetime milestones (IE I'm trying to buy a house now). I have some opus for a friends wedding that I'm the best man in. I have some ESG and some GOF that are just other special occasion. I dont have alot of really rare tatuaje's, but the reservas I have are like pick-me-ups for when I need to relax/need a no doubt good cigar.
