Hey Gents,
Just a quick question on a recent smoke.
I've had very limited experience with the Siglo VI, but I've been nothing but impressed so far. The first examples I tried all came from the same box (no idea on the date but I believe the were '06's). They had gorgeous dark wrappers, a perfect draw, delivered lots of smoke and had a very rich, grassy taste that bordered on decadent. I've recently tried another, from someone else's stock, that was disappointing (As an FYI, this example had a noticably lighter wrapper) - relatively low smoke volume and taste that was not nearly in the same league (it had the "grassy" character, but not nearly as stong or pleasant). Based on the source and the general character of the cigar, I'm quite confident it was the genuine item. Have others experienced this as well? Was this latest smoke just an anomaly, part of a normal, natural variation typical of a handmade product? Perhaps I was jut expecting too much based on the Cohiba name, and a very limited number of previous experiences . . . I'm just curious and wanted to throw this out there for comment.
As always, thanks for your time and efforts!
Cheers.
