The Golden Steer is on Shahara, just west of Las Vegas Blvd.

As far as Laughlin being more smoke-friendly, the smoking ban is statewide, not just Vegas.

That's about an accurate description as you can get. No holds barred...not only are they "Entourage" wannabe's, but wannabe "ho's" and "pimps" all of a sudden, and no greater example of that than at the Palm. Vegas went through its "family" thing until about 2000, 2001, then all hell broke loose, about when they started what is pretty much a pimp-n-ho campaign that we see in all the ads these days (what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, with excuses for promiscuity, not that there's anything wrong with that...!). It's not just a "little" much...it's a LOT much.

I still say that Rob Reiner should be featured on a cover.

I was in Vegas in February and you were able to smoke in the Fontana Lounge in the Bellagio. They have live music and it is a pretty good atmosphere. Not being able to smoke at the various restaurants, this is where I smoked every night.
