I'm not usually one for voicing myself on forums. I love reading them but never feel like I have any input worthy of replying with. I've never even registered until tonight.

However, I come asking for advice. I've read the big fat sticky and know how everyone reacts to these types of questions, but here goes.

I was directed to a Swiss website by a co-worker of mine who tells me she has ordered CC's with no problems in the past. I've been going back and forth in my mind whether to place a small test order with them or not. She's just a co-worker but we're close enough to have swapped a few Dominican's before.

Before I place my first small order, I wanted to see if anyone else here has done business with this retailer from Geneve, Switzerland.

I'm not fishing or asking for handouts here. I'm just looking for some relief as this is my first CC order attempt.

My Email address is in my profile. If you would be so kind as to send me an Email and make a quick "Email on the way or EMS" post here, I will give you the name and site info. If you have experience with them and you live in the US, please post you opinion or reply. I'm not really sure which way is better.

Ok, so right now I'm 1-5 on the source. The only one who has experience with the retailer said they have done good business with them in the past.

I still don't know what to do and I'm banging my head against the wall as a result

The best thing for you to do is to stick around and get to know people. After a few months, after people get to know you, perhaps someone will be willing to share a source with you. Sources are protected for a reason and buying cuban cigars as a U.S. Citizen is illegal, so it is not taken lightly by many here.

I think I'm going to take your advice. I don't know many people here and am starting to get Emails from people who aren't posting.

Regarding my source, I guess I'll keep it in my back pocket for a while.

As for sticking around, I'll continue to lurk but when it comes to CC's I really don't have much experience. The exceptions are a few H. Upmann Mags and Cohiba Sigs.

An idea of what I smoke: my humidors consist mostly of CAO's (Criollo's and Gold's), RyJ Bully's, AF Hemingway's and a mixture of Rocky Patel's.

Just curious. What do posters mean by "EMS".

I've seen if referred to as "English Market Selection". Not sure what it means though.
