Anybody have any experience with Cigar Connoisseurs on Water Street? I visited there a coupla years ago and was quite pleased with quality and prices. I should be back in Vancouver sometime soon and wanted to ask after all the Trevor hoo-hah. (I never did quite figure out which B&M he runs.)

There is a La Casa del Habano at 402 Hornby it is close to Gastown / Water Street, of the shops that I've looked at in that tourist area the conditions the cigars are kept in don't look great. The other shop I've bought the odd single from is City Cigar Company on 6th.

I deal with LCDH on Hornby street. The staff there are really nice and helpful. This place on water street I am not familiar with though.

Beautiful but unfortunetely due to Canadian law you cannot smoke inside the lounge. If that makes any sense. They spent 1/4 millionm on the lounge and then the government tells them they can't smoke in their smoke lounge. The shop is beautiful, great staff and excellent selection. And of course you at least know they are authentic.

None of the places mentioned are Trevor's shop.
City Cigar typically has better prices than the LCDH, though that's not saying much.

Whoa!!!! That must be a new law since we were there. We had a really nice smoke there. They gave us espresso and piped in some really nice music, if memory serves.
