I couldn't care less about US embargo on Cuban goods as I'm not a US citizen. But I do care about forum members here being respected and not treated as idiots just waiting for a new source of CCs to jump at/buy from, and I also care about everybody abiding by the forum rules that are set by CA.

Somebody keeps advertising this one source, using variuos aliases, including: JUL, JUDITH, JEFERSON, FREDERICK, alquiva, and maybe more.
From some of the posts it appears that this person either owns it or works there ("At ----******.com we use to get apart from knowledgable and helpfull staff, no problems with customs, blah, blah...")

So this is a call to everybody: never ever buy anything from that website. I don't know if it's good or not in terms of quality, but it's certainly bad if people there think they can treat CA forums and its members like that.

Anyone who buys CC from a site that offers CC's at a 66% discount, deserves what they get. Unlikely anyone here would purchase from such dubious sources offering outrageous discounts.

But Juthith's and Alquiva's post are rather funny.

Ditto.
I haven't had time on the forum the past few weeks and haven't seen their posts, but now I'm curious.

Really? I didn't know he had so many aliases! I just know of alquiva and camila.

Thank you VO, a warning is needed since that site sells fakes.

Thanks VO for the thread, I am tired of hitting that triangle button everytime this a-hole posts. I proposed that CA forums and its editors to ban this person's IP address from ever accessing this website again.

The context of dropping that site's name and the posting itself seemed quite shady.

I will miss Alquiva, (sniff) as I received some bad news from the Solo site rep, stating that he passed away in a very unfortunate accident on the factory floor at Solo.

Apparently he slipped on a banana peel while inspecting the cigars on the factory floor and fell into a large vat of piss and drowned.

Please, a moment of silence for our BOTUSL (Brother of the Urine Soaked Leaf)

Wait, why is there a large vat of piss on the cigar factory floor? That is very unsanitary, no wonder this place have such a great price they were probably all soaked in urine at one point or another.

It's their fault, I've warned them not to use banana peels as cigar binder... And there you go - wrong materials in cigar making may result in lethal outcome, and not only for the smoker as we see.

As for the vat of piss, it's true: since they didn't have distilled water or any other water at the place, they used urine to wash the floor sweepings, banana peels/leaves and other scrap that they use in cigar making. They also use it for humidification in their large humidor.

Oh and there is a continuation to the story. Since Alquiva (aka Frederick, JUL, Judith, etc., may he RIP) was so full of dry sh!t, he soaked up lots of urine before they were able to pull him out of the vat. So at Solo they decided to hang him up in their walk-in humidor as a one big humidifier. The word is no replacement would be needed for at least a year, so those who want to attend the funeral, please check back in a year or so.

If someone could verify the site for me by emailing, I'd much appreciate it.
