Just received a box of Upmann Connoisseur No. 1, which did not have a box code stamped on it.

Is this normal?

I've seen boxes where box codes were practicly invisible - because the stamping thingy was probably almost completely out of ink. So, I guess it's possible that it is not visible.

Not normal, but not totally abnormal for Cuba.

The usual question that comes to mind: trustwothy source?

According to several members of this board: yes, trustworthy source.

I've received a box in the past as well with no box code - trusted vendor and smoked fine. You'll see all sorts of oddities from time to time.
