Opie returns, again.... I thought you vowed NEVER to return. A man true to his word? Must be a Kerry flip-flop fan.

Maybe you can leave it at that Hard Ash, but I don't think I care for his last sentiment towards me.

Let's get something straight. Alex is a lying phony deceitful poster who is just here to stir up trouble till he burns out another handle. Some of you people who still give him the benefit of the doubt have no idea of what a bold faced liar he truly is.

I have always posted here under the same handle and stand by all of my posts no matter how right or wrong, interesting or boring, clever or witless. But one thing I defy anybody to come up with is a racist post. That despicable lying phony poster now destroying Jerry's handle doesn't even bother to misquote me anymore, just makes up some tale that I moved because of black people?!?! What post pray tell did that come from? NONE! The lying vainglorious hypocrite, himself a racist referring to me and others as white this or lily white that, simply pulls this crap out of the air.

Be a good boy now Alex and stick the race card back up your @$$!

Cigoz,

One day I wanted a Snickers bar ... or was it a Butterfingers; it doesn't matter. I knew where to get them - the vending machine. Tossed two quarters (jabs) in, pushed a button (that was the important part for you to read) and wa-la, out came what I predicted would come out of that machine.

Pushed buttons = predicted results.

Why keep falling for it?

All who have responed lately, I'm sorta new here, should I be completely confused. Has the last few posts just been about old feuds which were not started by the orginal discussion & I should know nothing about ?
This just an honest question guys ?

Dan,

It is an old issue. Best to be left alone.

Well Hard Ash, a good way to keep someone from pushing your buttons is to break their fingers. Time to get over the legend of Ligero and the gangstuh elite crap. This Alex is just a low-life no-life A-hole. He should be confronted by all decent members whenever and however he comes here spewing hatred and lies. I'm just doing my part to rid the place of scum.

The problem with turning the other cheek is that you soon run out of cheeks. Next thing you know someone's spreading them. This snake in the grass, Alex "the Lig", has got to be exposed and countered every time he slithers in here with his venom.

Dan, this an honest answer:

Yes, the latter was posted on a public board of which you are a member. But please, stay out of it.

@Quebecmike

Try Maria la Gorda Diving Center or Nueva Gerona (Cabo Frances Diving Area). Both excellent places for dive, but only to reach by Jeep (M.l.G.) or Ferry (Isla de la Juventud).

Both are PADI certified.

QDO Imperiales are wonderful cigars. A bit on the mild side, but with mucho personality. I recommend them highly.

Nueva Gerona and Maria la Gorda were both very heavily affected by Ivan. Not much diving for a while. There's also Playa Larga and into the Bahia de los Cochinos (Bay of Pigs) that have inlets that were less affected.

QDO Imp.
Missing from my vulgar culture.
I grabbed one out of a box while the grabbing was good. Its sitting in my desktop.

A little rest and maybe I'll try it before WINTER FREEZES ME IN MAKING EVERY SMOKE I HAVE OUTSIDE TASTE LIKE A F**KING CHEAP MENTHOL CIGARETTE.

Playa Larga you can forget. Dead corals, 1 Fish at 100 feet. Smile

Oh we are happy to fly in winter again to the "evil" arabs Wink. I love the red sea, especially the south of egypt. Mass of corals and fish, friendly (sometimes too friendly) arab diving guides, good dving bases ad normal prices. If you have the chance to see it - do it! Egypt is wonderful, and more safe than Miami *lol*.

Eastern Cuba was the most affected by the drought over the last two years or so.

Myabe some posters above discussed this. So many posts.

I wonder how much rain was captured in the reservoirs and in the aquifers? Or will it take much more?

As for diving. I don't know how much a hurricane can damage a reef.
Maybe silt laden flooded river run off can affect the coral and will affect the visibility.

As for wave action. Shallow reefs have it pretty rough all the time and deeper reefs are too deep to be really affected. No?

Depends on the wavefront. In my mind, the effect will be limitet to the crown of the reef until a depth of 10m max.

The question is: does the diving base always exist? Did they secure the boats? That is imho. the main problem.
