360 Cities shows panoramic pictures taken by professional and amateur photographers. It has many cities throughout the world but since this is the Cuban Forum I thought I would zoom to Havana. For many of the people that haven’t or can’t go to Havana, this gives you an idea of how Cuba looks. It is sort of like Street View on Google but much better picture quality and some cities that Google has yet to cover.
ON the this link 360 Cities You need to move your mouse over one of the green icons and WAIT until a thumbnail picture/s appears, then click on the picture. The number on the green icon corresponds to the number of different panoramic pictures taken in that area. You can zoom out if you want and look at many other cools cities around the world. DO NOT CLICK ON THE GREEN ICON, click on the pictures that appear after you place your mouse over the icon. You can also click on all the thumbnail picture that appear on the left hand side.
This also works MUCH better and faster on Google Earth. To get this on Google Earth you need to click on Layers on the left hand side and then look for and click on Gallery on the list that comes out. The next list that comes out should have360 cities first. Click on the 360 icon and zoom to a city were the icons appear on the map.
Wow. That's cool. There is a panaramic view at the fort guarding Havanna. When I was there in 1991 I took a series of about 3 sets of panaramic views of that exact spot. However. I was at the top of the fort and took photos of the area on the other side.
Cool
