Now that it's getting colder, those of us who don't want to smoke at home or in our cars, and who can't always get to the cigar shop or club easily, are forced to step out on the porch or patio, or talk a short walk around the neighborhood for as long as we can stand the cold...just to get a smoke in.

Which leads to my question. What are your favorite "short smokes" for occasions like this?

I am partial to Bolivar Petit Coronas, but am open to trying something new.

Buy a heater and smoke a churchill.

SLR PCs are great. Punch PCs are also good, but a bit more mild.

San Christobal "El Principe" Tres Petit Coronas. The best small cigar out there.

Second what Dave said and add Boli Corona JR. and Partagas Shorts to the list. Forgot to mention Ramon Allones Small Club Corona.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

Propane heater is good, but a HOT TUB is the best. You certainly won't get cold while your smoking! Big Grin

Actually we joke that the tub is our little blue pill..... Cool

I went on this mission a couple months ago in preparation for winter, to me, the winner is absolutely Partagas Shorts. a taste of the deep Cuban flavor in a small smoke. you won't be sorry, and get a 50 cab. . .being short I tend to smoke a lot of them, because you have to make time for a big cigar, but you can always find a quick 30 minutes for this smoke.

A Short Story is my winter smoke. I now have a storage building(wired for lights and heat) that is a great place to smoke when it gets too cold for smoking out on the deck.

I won't smoke anything smaller than a Monte #4. If I don't have time for that, I won't have a cigar. I enjoy a smoke for the relaxation factor, if I don't have time to relax or it's to cold....oh well.
