Just recieved my first order of CC's. I'm pleased with the transaction and more importantly those little sticks. I figured I would start off with a small order to make sure everything goes ok. I did some research on the CC website and everything seems in order not only from it but from the help of a certain poster on board. The date on(inside) the box is ETS FEB 08. When I travel to Buffalo for the Bills games this fall(season ticket holder) my wife and I plan on making the journey to Toronto and reaquainting ourselves with a few shops I haven't been to in 15 or so years. Thanks again everyone for making these tough times most enjoyable!

If you enjoyed those peso cigars just wait till you have real CC. The Quintero line is generally cosidered at the low end of the Cuban marcas, I hope you did not pay too much for them. When in Toronto check out LCDH and enjoy some of the more upscale brands, I am sure you will be blown away.

Thats why I went with the Quintero kechke, I just wanted to make sure my test run went ok and not drop large money which I certainly didn't. I've had other machine made CC's before like the Gispert Habanero #2 hand finished which I liked and the Troya Universal which I didn't. As for the upper scale I've enjoyed the Monti # 4 corona, Partagas D Robusto, RJ Cazadore, Upmann Corona and a few others while up north years ago. Back in the late 1980's I had the priveledge to recieve a pack of Davidoff #2's and the little Ambassadrice cigars. I forgot to mention my favorite during that time period was the Punch Punch which I see is still produced. The one cigar I wanted to try and I see is no longer made is the Upmann #1 Lonsdale. Any suggestions for that size would be appreciated. Thanks again!

A much better deal for cheap Cubans are the Jose L Piedra line.
i beg to differ. although not on the same level as the better mm cc, like the classic jl patricias, i still find the quintero panatela to be a very popular cigar in our shop.

I think your missing the point about the quinteros poupon! The reason for them in the first place was to test the ordering and making sure my first transaction went smooth which it did. I agree with you and a few others about the quality but for now they will go fine with my moring cup of joe. As for Partagas I was eyeing up a box of mille fleurs. I enjoy the corona size. As for Partagas the Robusto D is the only stick from the line I've ever smoked but that was years ago and since I'm back to enjoying cigars I see many haven't been produced in years like thoe Upmann #1.

Thanks Holtz! You have a great collection of EVERYTHING. I see you have some pictures of pipes! My father years ago gave me his Dunhill and Castello collection which hasn't seen the light of day in years. I'm going to have to locate them and refresh my memory! There were also some beautiful Tobacco pouches also mixed in with those pipes.
