Received a little present in the mail today. Unfortunelty after some inspecting I found some of the cigars to be damaged. I ordered a box of Regalos, four SLR's series A, and 4 RyJ Churchills.
Four of the regalos were damaged on the foot, one looked like it swelled open. Im a bit concerned since the box was inspected before it left the vendors facility and should had been caught before shipping.
One of the SLR's was completely crushed, no doubt due to shipping. They should should have put the singles in some sort of box, instead of just vaccum sealed bags.
Im a little surprised since of had good luck in the past with this vendor, it was recommended by some of the members here. I guess its time to write a little e-mail and see what they say.
BTW, currently smoking a TTT reyes from the same vendor and I'm loving every puff.

The vendor asked what would I like to do to resolve this. I almost want to ask fo r a new box of Regalos, but I dont want to ship a box of CC's. Do you guys think since 2 cigars in a box of 25 had swelling from over humidification the other 23 sticks would be affected?

i would say make them ship you an identical order for replacement...it's guaranteed delivery and with those being messed up i'm sure the other ones are prone to damage within the next month or so...

No, but thats just a guess. By now they are in a more stable environment with presumably a lower RH so I would think they will be fine.
As for what your vendor should do, in my opinion they should send you replacements for all the damaged cigars at no cost and you should keep the damaged ones. Either that or you send back the whole thing and get a total replacement.
