Use the search Duke, I mean Yaz and you will see we are all raving about these EL's.

The Dukes are phenomenal , I have 3 boxes and have tried one from each box. Amazing smoke, 93 and will get better with aging, as the profile is a bit harsh at the finish.

Just type in "Mag 48" in the Find field:

The R&J Duke is excatly what you would expect in a R&J EL at that rg, they are rich, with dark wrappers and mod-firm construction.

The Mag 48 is a total surprise and I'm not sure folks will come to agreement over it. It is a small cigar, and quite a departure from the Mag 46 & Mag 50. It has some bold tastes, that belie it's general size, but it begs the question, "where did this come from?"

cheers

I love the both of them but the Duke IMHO is the better of the two!

I had the 48 and thought it a very nice cigar so fresh out of the box. I think all these El;s need at least 1yr to settle in and some need at least 2. so won't be wasting to many more .
next up is the Duke

I got a sampler of the ELs and I gotta say the Dukes look the best. The foot on my Mag 48 looks like its been cut a little crooked... I remember JS saying in a video he found the same with his RE Bolivar shorts. Anyone else find that's the case?

But if I was to invest, definately the Dukes, not too expensive either IMO..

I have gotten cigars cut a little off. I don't think it means anything.
