Maybe not kool aid, but clearly substances a HECK of a lot more volatile. There's no sense wasting bandspace on some sloppy drunk who thinks he's doing people favors by being such a version of clever. Absolutely no point whatsoever to continue such a discussion on something and someone so lacking in significance, knowledge, presence of mind and couth. This stand-up guy sent me a dozen or so private e-mails about my deceased parent.

What a crowd pleaser. Oh yeah...oooooozes greatness. Just another stand-up!

I admit that I have no idea what's been going on here lately but for what it's worth I remember Claude from when I first started posting here a couple of years ago. I like him.

Rocco, wasn't the subject at hand about Claude? He came in here and started trolling, plain and simple. Some liked him, others, less so for obvious reasons. I have nothing personal against the guy. He's never sent me hate mail, but I can't stick up for him when he was clearly stirring the pot.

Why bring up who was on what site or why they left? Everyone has their own opinions about the past.

PS, bat and ball? When someone is no longer welcomed in the playground, why shouldn't they take their equipment with them when they leave?

I can't believe some of you out there are still upset because someone else left on account they didn't agree with how things were run. That, in itself, speaks volumes about how much you wanted to controll someone elses "bat and ball".

Ok - if CW is good people why don't they stay there? Why they keep coming here trying to stir sh*t? Is anyone doing the same on CW? I guess not. So - why don't you stay on YOUR playground, good people????? Sheeesh! Mad

P.S. And yes, never been to Cuba and smoking cuban cigars for 2 years? That's one lousy CV for a cigar board. Hardly an expert.....

ANYBODY that stays away for a long time, whether they have fled to that other board or not, and only pops in occasionally to post negative and inflammatory coments, reveals themselves to all regular posters as an insurgent. It doesn't matter to me what your registration date is; having a long history of posting as "one-of-the-in-crowd" does not give you any credibility with the current regular population that stays and plays. When one of them pops in solely to disrupt the general peace and tranquility, use the tool provided to report the behavior and remove them from the ranks of CA registered posters. Then one by one they will get new handles like The Boliman and try again. Simply repeat the process.

New handles are more difficult to get because CA no longer accepts free email address based membership requests.

The only time I ever read anything here when I come back from time to time are the threads that have over 20 replies. So of course I clicked on this one to see what was up.

I cannot believe the amount of CW hatin' going on here. Perhaps I have not been privy to the original material that Claude offered up, but I can assure you that whatever it was it was Claude poking a little fun and sowing a few wild oats. Anyone here, old or new, that points a finger at Claude has 3 fingers pointing back at them. We have ALL done the same thing in some form or another and to pretend otherwise is hogwash. Beating a dead horse? Obviously not, as that horse is still wheezing.

Of all of the people I have interacted with on this and other boards, Claude is without question one of THE most geniune, kind, authentic, intelligent, and likable. He is generous to a fault, and possessess a heart of gold. I have never met him in person, but we have held countless telephone conversations and he'll be invited to my eventual wedding.

To hear him being called a sloppy, drunken fool sickens my heart. ESPECIALLY coming from you, RyJ. Nothing could be further from the truth. I consider you to be a hell of a lot better than that, and I would have expected to see some evidence of it here. I am really disappointed. When people I consider friends start calling out others of my friends, something is terribly wrong.

The content of most of this thread is proof in print why this board is so dreadfully miserable and why people have been registering in droves at the other place in the last two months. I don't care who said what - there is no justification for this kind of slander. Period, dot, end of story. Respect your brothers.

One way to know if a woman really loves you? If she'll HAVE your dog.
