A good, personal friend of mine has asked me to post on this forum advising that he wishes to sell his San Cristobal de La Habana Limited Edition Humidor that he purchased at a Habanos Festival. I am under the impression that such a post meets with CA rules and regulations since Roberto Habanos was allowed to sell his own personal collection previously without impunity.
The asking price is $ 4,990.00 US, is available for shipment worldwide, and contains all supporting documentation from Habanos. Please direct all inquiries to rockstar.mex@hotmail.com
The following provides additional information on this limited edition humidor:
New San Cristóbal de La Habana Case.
Habanos S.A. presents three new vitolas within the San Cristóbal de la Habana usual size range which will undoubtedly please the customer’s wishes all in a beautiful case made to commemorate the Fifth anniversary of the brand.
San Cristóbal de la Habana was the original name of Havana, Cuba’s capital city, when it was founded in 1519; San Cristóbal (St Christopher) in honour of Columbus and La Habana after an Indian name for the site.
Its range is composed of four vitolas with a light to medium flavour using tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region. Two sizes, El Morro and La Fuerza, are not found in any other Habano brand.
This case contains 100 cigars and each vitola correspond to the name of an ancient street of Havana and it’s ordered as follows:
25 Muralla (cepo 54 por 180 mm) Vitola de Galera Rodolfo 25 Mercaderes (cepo 48 por 167 mm) Vitola de Galera Hermoso No 1 25 Oficios (cepo 43 por 135 mm) Vitola de Galera Dalias Cortas, se unen a ellas 25 tabacos de la vitola El Morro (cepo 49 por 180 mm) Those who love the brand and its flavour will be able now to enjoy this beautiful cases belonging to the Exclusive Line of New Products for The Casa del Habano which are already available on these stores.

I should add the humidor is from 2004 and additional information, including a picture, can be obtained by clicking on the following link from the official Habanos website:
The gentleman can easily arrange to have the humidor shipped from Mexico...for actual, real live photos you can direct an inquiry to the email address I provided above and/or contact me offline at roycigar@aol.com and I can provide you with additional information. Thanks.

Not beating around the bush in regard to price. I like that. Unlike some people who's wishy washy even in private emails talking about the fluctuating value of the American dollar.. or trying to sniff the maximum amount people are willing to spend before committing to a price.

Best of Luck, you will need it trying to sell something on this board.
More trouble than what it's worth, tell your friend that he can start by lowering the price, you can still get this humidor from a lot of Swiss Vendors at a lower price around 3,500 dlls.
LCDH in Polanco Mexico City has this Humidor for 60,000 pesos divide this into 12.8 it comes to around 4,700 dlls plus Tax.
If I would buy any Humidor from LCDH it would be the 510 Aniversario Humidor, I was negotiating a price a while ago for 3,500 dlls, but then the economy turned sour.
One thing I can say for anyone that is looking for Habanos as an Investment, buy GOLD instead.

The comment about selling on this board is a little curious. It is easier when you don't go through cycles of announcing you want to sell, then saying how precious your cigars are, then changing your mind and not selling, then selling again etc. Refusing to sell them by any other means except the buyer travelling to your country probably didn't help your cause either.

A precedent for selling on this board had already been established by another well respected member last year. First time post re: this humidor by me; hence, price has remained constant and was only announced this past week. Finally, humidor is available for shipment worldwide. I do agree, however, that potential sale of this humidor will probably be limited to Southern California or Mexico residents (note: If any residents of Southern California wish to inspect the humidor and its contents for authenticity it will not require a visit into Mexico...email me or my friend for more details if it requires further explanation).

That and the fact that Roberto asks three times what they are worth. At least Roy's prices are fair.

That is why I did not sell a single box, and that is why I recommend that for Investment Purposed buy GOLD or Swiss Francs and not Rare habanos.
One thing I can say,
That's life, that's what all the people say. You're riding high in April, Shot down in May But I know I'm gonna change that tune, When I'm back on top, back on top in June.
Per your suggestion, I have received pics of cigars inside the humidor...if you or someone you know is still interested, email my friend or myself at the addresses provided earlier in this post. Thanks.

Can you send them to my email? The firefox does not open the link that lead to profiles if I click your avatar menu. Thanks
