I was searching through the posts and couldnt find much on either of these cigars. I was trying to find a small nice cigar and realized I haven't tried either of these. Anyone a regular smoker of either of these? How are they?

I'm interested in hearing some opinions about these smokes too, seem like nice "entry level" cohibas.

I have smoked a cab of Siglo IIs

These are excellent PCs, but you have to ask yourself are they worth the money given the other excellent PCs out there for so much less $$$ ... Bolivar PC for example.

If you want to "introduce" yourself to Cohiba, act like you own the place ... I've always been fond of bold moves ... go for the Cañonazo, the Siglo VI, one of the finest Cuban cigars on the market. Perfect for seasoned smokers and newbies alike. Very much representative of Cohiba and the best of the marque.

Forget the extra $$$, if you are considering Cohiba PCs you are willing to spend the money; spend a little more and go for the best of the best, you won't be disappointed.

Hang on tightly, let go lightly

I had smoked few of Siglo I, in my opinion they are good 30 minutes smoke. A lot of sweet grassy taste with hint of coffee. I say for $8 a stick, siglo I is probably worth the money.

Well, try, "cigaretteAficionado". Not too much about these cigars because most of the cigar smokers who participate here smoke cigars. When you talk about a tres tres petit corona and a tres petit corona...I mean, who cares?

I find that the sig 2 is a much better cigar, the tastes are richer and smoother than the other PCs. The sig 1, while a very good smoke is not as rich but is stronger than the sig 2 and has excelent flavor as well. It just don't last as long.

I smoke a lot of siglo I, they are a great 30 min cigar. For me one of the bests, very consistent and well made likek all cohibas and for someone with little time for a smoke they can be a diamond in the middle of the day.

I'd go with the I.

I would not smoke it in 30 mins. though. That's much too fast. It takes me 45 min to an hour to enjoy these.

Are you serious? I couldn't possibly smoke that slowly if I tried. On that little tiny cigar - I would have to relite it every 10 minutes to have it last that long. 20 minutes tops for me.

Honestly...30 - 45 minutes for a tres petit corona???? You're supposed to SMOKE the thing, not fondle it! The 'robusto' was designed to be the medium range smoke, perfect for lunch, maybe a 45 minute smoke max. And you can't get through a TPC with that amount of time??

I guess I'm just not a professional at this. I just smoke them at a pace I enjoy. What's the hurry?

While the times mentioned maybe a general guide, it seems you're trying to make them a black & white rule which I dertainly don't adhere to or agree with. Cigar smoking is about personal enjoyment, if someone likes fondleing them then that's their business in my opinion.

And I certainly do not claim to be an expert.

Punched -
I don't think anyone was being particularly serious about it, just discussing differences. If he wants to take 3 hours to smoke it, that's fine with me. I just can't imagine how you would be able to keep a Sig l going for 30 minutes.

Yeh, You may be right about the particularly serious of RJ's post & if that is the case I misunderstood his intent. It just sounded like that was a hard & fast rule he believed everyone should follow.

I say to each his own on their smoking habits.
Personally, I like a robusto to last right a 60 minutes for my taste, most of the time.

Is jsiviglia just asking a question or a recognized troll I have missed or forgotten about? No offense meant jsiviglia.

I had a siglo 1 last month and it was very nice, for a small cigar this was worth the $$.
I found it much unlike the rest of the cohibas. Very sweet, light to medium bodied. Still had the cohiba flavor but not as easy to pick up as the rest of the siglo line.
Just FYI the siglo series is going to be a much lighter smoke than the rest of the cohiba line.

just my 2 cents

Personally I love the Siglo I. No real experience with the II. It will last me 20-30 minutes. I used to smoke much faster but age has slowed me down. I don't always have time for a DC or anything larger than a PC or TPC, and it has a real nice mouth coating flavor and long finish. I used to smoke two packs of ciggybutts a day and cigars ain't nothin' like em. Thank goodness. Of course for the cost of a Siglo I I could buy a pack of smokes in NYMFC.
