So I was wandering through one of my vinos last night, and came across a Cohiba band from a newer sale that did not look like what I am used to...the "Cohiba" box cuts into the third line of white squares (I would say about a third of the way into it...the other Cohiba bands have the line right under the third line square...
So my question is, does the fact that the band is a bit different (in a new stick) in that way mean that it is automatically a fake? Or is there a bit of play with the "Correctness" of the band?
In all my experience with cohibas, i have never seen a real one with the squares cut off halfway. Also though i believe that anything could happen, cuba isn't excatly known for their quality control so it could have just been a mistake. How does the cigar look and smell otherwise? any pictures you could post?
