The new anti tobacco legislation that came into effect on June 1 limits the viewing of cigars making them almost impossible to buy imho unless the retailer breaks the law. In Ottawa, the stash is hidden or shrouded to prevent newbies from getting addicted. A lot of retailers will be hurt. How's the reaction in TO?

Why not post all your prices Sheri? And does that include taxes? What cut does CA get from this new service you are offering?

That is all we are willing to part with at this time. Taxes? Of course not.

OK Sheri,

I know you are new to the CA board and all, and I will be nice.

"These forums are intended for personal use; commercial solicitations are not permitted and will be deleted."

I think Bob Dylan said that in one of his songs.

Not sure though, as I had a nasty spill on my mountain bike yesterday riding in the rain and mud. Tore up my whole right arm and leg with gravel rash and whacked my head on the ground. So I may be a bit stupid today, or quite possibly for the rest of my life.

What else are you willing to part with? Your house, your cat, your reputation?

No one gets my cats or my dog! :P

Seriously though, I think you misunderstand and I apologize if I wasn't clear. I am not a business at all. These are in my personal humidors at home. We bought entire boxes, which is why we have some to spare.

looks like you've added a decent tobacco tax on there....I guess that would be municipal?

You know what? Forget it. I have extra in my PERSONAL humidor and was trying to help out another member by selling them to him for less than he could buy them in the stores and you guys jump all over me. These things sell for approximately $30 and $64 each, respectively. I don't appreciate your sarcasm and your poor attitude to a new member is less than inspiring.

Don't take it too hard Sheri. If you would have observed the forum, you would have known some of the unwritten rules. Here's a couple:

1. Don't try to sell stuff here, especially for a new member. If you must, do it via exchanging emails.

2. Steve Cohen is sarcastic (in a fun way) but rarely insulting.

You might not appreciate the treatment you got in this thread, but we don't appreciate newbs coming in here selling CCs. I for one believe you're doing this as a goodwill, but unfortunately, we've seen too many trolls coming in here pretending to be BOTLs, but really are a bunch of peddlers selling fake CCs. With that said, hope you stick around since it's a really good forum. Smile

sorry, I couldn't resist....I'm just a firm believer that if your gonna help someone out, just help them out....I guess your prices are decent though....less than what you would pay in the stores. I apologize for upsetting you.

Thank you and I apologize if I stepped on any toes. I can understand your concern regarding trolls, but I do have receipts from Cuba for the cigars in question. I guess I can also understand your concern with respect to CC's given the difficulty most members have here getting them. I'm in Toronto, Canada, so I never looked at it from your perspective because I just don't have that problem here. That being said, I won't refer to any extras that I am willing to part with from now on.

Sheri, I think you are wasting your time. Most of the members can get cuban cigars for just a bit higher than what you paid in Cuba.

Trying to sell them a MC (#2 I'm guessing) for $20.00 is like twice what they can get them for.

just an FYI.
